PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that generally fair weather will prevail over the country despite chances of isolated rain showers.

On Tuesday (April 2, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The High-Pressure Area and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Rhea Torres reported that the ridge of the High Pressure Area will be extending over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon.

“Sa kasalukuyan po ‘yung mga weather systems na nakakaapekto sa ating bansa ay ‘yung ridge or extension ng isang HPA na nakakaapekto sa silangang bahagi ng Northern and Central Luzon,” Torres said.

The easterlies would bring uncomfortable weather nationwide. “Samantala patuloy pa rin ‘yung pag-iral ng easterlies, o ‘yung mainit na hangin na nanggagaling sa Dagat Pasipiko sa nalalabing bahagi ng ating bansa,” she explained.

The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan, Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.
