Actress Kim Rodriguez shrugged off the rumors that were romantically involving her with former basketball star Marc Pingris.
What is the real score between actress Kim Rodriguez and basketball player Marc Pingris?
In a previous article, Pingris addressed the rumors with Rodriguez which was ignited when people spotted photos of them taken in the same place and posted at around the same time. They were not a single photo of them together but the similarities of the situation brought assumptions to the minds of many people online.
Firmly denying this story, the basketball star said in a statement, “Walang katotohanan ang mga lumalabas na balita tungkol sa amin ni Ms. Kim Rodriguez. Walang namamagitan sa aming dalawa gaya ng sinasabi ng ibang tao.”
Through Kim’s manager, her side of the story was revealed. In a vlog from Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update channel, Diaz revealed the truth about them and dismissed some of the inappropriate accusations thrown at them.
“Hindi po yan totoo.”
This was the answer of the actress to Diaz when asked about the real score between her and the famous basketball player. She added, “Nagpunta ako diyan [gas station]. Nag-stopover ako diyan kasi papunta ako ng Subic kasama yung mga kaibigan ko. Yung kay Marc Pingris po, hindi ko po alam kung kailan yun.”
Regarding the similar photo of them with the Sydney Opera House in the background, the actress shared that it was taken during her vacation in Australia with her two friends.
“Anong pakialam ko kung may picture doon si Marc Pingris sa Opera House, e, ako rin merong picture,” she said to Diaz.
Meanwhile, Pingris is married to Danica Sotto, daughter of TV personality Vic Sotto and actress Dina Bonnevie. They got married in 2007 and at present time, they are a happy family with their three children namely Jean Michel, Anielle Micaela, and Jean-Luc.
Danica reacted to the alleged cheating by commenting in a post of their friend defending her husband. It appears that she’s not affected by the rumors.
