Carla Abellana Gets Honest About Tom Rodriguez’s New Girlfriend

Carla Abellana admitted her perspective on marriage changed

Kapuso actress Carla Abellana has this honest answer when asked about the current love life of her ex-husband actor Tom Rodriguez.

Carla and Tom’s separation was quite a shock for many showbiz fans. It is because they had been together for seven years before they decided to tie the knot but just a few months after their wedding, it was revealed by Carla’s father veteran actor Rey PJ Abellana that the breakup happened.

Tom has recently returned to the Philippines to have his showbiz comeback and he revealed that he is now in a relationship with his non-showbiz girlfriend.

In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Carla Abellana was asked about the love life of her former partner. The actress said that she rather not comment on this.

“I don’t see the need to comment or even react. Parang it’s not any of my concern anymore, parang ganu’n. Kumbaga I am aware naman na nakabalik na siya,” Carla said.

The actress reiterated that she has said before that if ever their paths cross or if they would ever meet again wherever it may be, she is prepared for this to happen. She said that she would just be herself and let him be.

Carla also shared that what she thinks of marriage changed after what happened to her relationship with Tom. The actress stressed that she definitely still believes in love and she is open to this but settling down again is a different thing.

“Aminin ko po ang daming nag-change ‘yung mga perspective ko po, especially with marriage. ‘Yun po ang medyo nag-iba po ang aking pananaw or paningin pagdating sa marriage,” the actress admitted.

She also got honest about her view on being married again. “I really honestly I don’t see myself getting married again. Nag-iba po eh, nabulabog ang aking concept,” Carla Abellana said.
