On Tuesday evening (March 19, 2024), a fire engulfed a house in Purok Bayanihan, Barangay Villamonte, in the city of Bacolod. The residents were seen rummaging through and reading a particular Bible.
According to Jenelyn Lopez, the homeowner, they were unaware of the fire until their child noticed flames and alerted them. The child mentioned somebody threw fire into their home.
Fortunately, everyone managed to escape unharmed. It is also known that two families were residing in the burned-down house.
