Heart is generous enough to share to her fans her personal life. She is known for being honest about what she feels and thinks, although there were times when she chose to be silent about a certain issue or say just a little about this.
In a recent interview on Fast Talk, the talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, based on the article in Inquirer, Heart, together with her husband Senator Chiz Escudero, talked about their relationship and the things surrounding them.
During the interview, Heart Evangelista was also asked about the greatest mistake she made in her life. The Kapuso star said that it is giving her full trust in certain people.
“To trust others too much. You cannot trust the most angel-like person that comes, you do not drink the first glass of water someone gives you just because you trust them,” Heart shared.
She also said that it is better not to reveal to other people your “plans and the map to success” because she said that there is a possibility that these people will take advantage of your innocence and sincerity.
Heart stressed that the only people who deserve your trust are your family. “Others will not look at you [the same] way. You only show the blueprint of your life to those you trust,” she added.
The fashion icon also said that the blueprint of a person’s life continues to change as they grow and this will the other party to lose their way. Heart did not mention any particular incident about this.
“So somewhere along the way, whoever took this map will lose their way so wala na ‘ko dun,” she said.
When asked about people who want to follow her journey in the fashion industry, Heart Evangelista said that people who emulate what she is doing are cool. She also said that being a fashion influencer is not equivalent to competing with others. The fashion icon said that she would rather be competitive with herself.
