Andrea Brillantes did not attend this year’s Star Magical Prom
Kapamilya young actress Andrea Brillantes was absent at the Star Magical Prom 2024 and the source of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared the reason behind this.
Andrea is one of the most popular stars of her generation under the management of the Kapamilya network. Her most recent project was the primetime series Senior High. Last year, Andrea attended the prom with her ex-boyfriend basketball player Ricci Rivero.
To recall, Andrea even had a grand promposal. She asked Ricci to be her date during the Black Pink concert. The members of the popular K-pop group even read her message. Ricci, of course, say yes to this.
Rose of Blackpink even recalled during a live streaming the promposal during their Manila concert. Andrea Brillantes commented “we broke up now” and this shocked the Rose.
For this year prom, Andrea was absent. Ogie Diaz talked about this in the recent episode of his Showbiz Update vlog. His co-host Mama Loi asked if Andrea snubbed the event.
Ogie shared that based on his source, the young actress planned to have her vacation in the U.S. It was said that Andrea was in a birthday leave. The actress celebrated her 21st birthday on March 12.
However, her planned vacation did not push through and she was not able to prepare for the Star Magical Prom. “Gustuhin man daw nu’ng bata na umattend, hindi ito nakapag-prepare ng isusuot,” Ogie shared.
The talent manager-vlogger also shared that there were many people asking why Andrea did not attend the prom and this just means that the actress is relevant.
Meanwhile, Ogie also shared that he was not invited this year but last year, Star Magic sent an invitation. However, he was not available at that time, so it was Mama Loi and Tita Jegs who attended the event last year.
