Last December 2023, the post of Sharon Cuneta with Kiko Pangilinan‘s head seemingly intentionally cut off went viral online. Many people were puzzled as to why this happened and if it was intentional or not.
After that post went viral, the Megastar shared a sweet post for him about their marriage. She acknowledged the imperfections in their relationship but she is grateful for being able to marry a good and honest man. She is thankful for him for being a great father to their children.
Months after that went viral, the Megastar shared the real story behind it and apologized.
In her confession, she admitted that she was at fault for doing it. The post with her husband’s head cut off was a product of her indiscretion. She said, “Nag-aaway kami nu’n.”
She apologized for it and realized how mindless she was for doing it. At that moment, she really wanted to share a photo with her children but she could not find one without their father. But right after posting it, she realized the mistake she did and immediately regretted it.
Because of this happening, she learned to be careful on what to share and post on her social media page. In terms of their marriage, she expressed that they also get problems and misunderstandings just like any other couple but among these, a third party was never the reason.
“But it was never because of someone else. It’s never because of someone else,” she reiterated. She stressed again how loving Kiko has always been as her husband and their children’s father including KC Concepcion, her daughter with her ex-husband. He is a good father to KC ever since they started dating.
