AUBREY MILES – The Pinay actress made headlines after selling one of her rare plants for a staggering amount of P1 million.

Aubrey Santos Sandel-Miller known not only for her talent in the entertainment industry but also for her passion for plants, has found a new source of income in her gardening hobby.

Recently, the 41-year-old actress was able to sell one of her rare plants from Brazil. She sold it for P1 million. The plant called Spiritus Sancti, came from Brazil’s rainforests, making it exceptionally rare and sought after by collectors.

“P1 million. Spiritus Sancti. From Brazil kasi siya, from the rainforest, very rare,” said Aubrey.

In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Aubrey revealed the impressive sale, emphasizing the uniqueness of the plant. She grows the Spiritus Sancti to increase its numbers before selling it.

By carefully cutting and breeding the plant, she was able to multiply her investment and make huge profits from each sale.

“Nagbenta muna ako ng mga halaman. Tapos nu’ng bumili ako, cinut cut ko, binenta ko ‘yun. Tapos cinut ko ulit, binenta ko ulit, Kung binili ko ‘yun ng one million, igo-grow ko lang siya, ibebenta ko ng P300,000. Tapos ‘yung isa, P200,000. Mga ilang leaves lang ‘yun, mga two, ganiyan,” she added.

Her husband, Troy Montero, supported her plant-selling endeavors, serving as her assistant in caring for the plants. Troy jokingly mentioned that Aubrey is more organized, explaining that they share responsibilities, including financial matters.

The couple also prioritize financial planning and communication regarding their investments and expenses, aside from their plant business. Aubrey mentioned that they even discuss and manage their bills together, ensuring that they stay on top of their financial responsibilities.
