Ogie Diaz shared what his source revealed about Xian Lim and Iris Lee
How true is it that the Xian Lim-Iris Lee started in 2022 when the actor was still together with Kim Chiu?
Iris is rumored to be the third party in the Xian-Kim breakup. The former couple were together for more than a decade but back in December 2023, they both announced their breakup through their respective Instagram posts.
In their breakup posts, they highlighted the years they had been together which became a big part of their lives. However, the breakup had to happen.
Before the breakup confirmation, Xian Lim was already linked to Iris Lee. Photos of them together surfaced online. As a producer, Iris had the chance to work with Xian on several projects.
Previously, Ogie Diaz shared in his Showbiz Update vlog that based on his source, it was Xian who initiated the breakup. It was said that the actor told Kim to cook his favorite steak and while they were eating, the actor just suddenly, that they should separate because allegedly, Kim’s family and some of her friends weren’t in favor of their relationship.
This story about how the Xian-Kim breakup happened went viral. In a recent Showbiz Update vlog, Ogie shared that his source who told him about this laughed when many showbiz news sites picked up the story.
The talent manager-vlogger shared another story that his source from Viva revealed. It was alleged that the Xian-Iris thing started back in 2022. The title of his vlog, included “Xian Lim, cheater nga ba?”
“Noong 2022 pa pala raw nagsimula yung Iris at Xian Lim,” Ogie said. However, he said that it is still not sure if Xian and Iris are already a couple, just friends, or in a getting-to-know-each-other stage.
Ogie specifically mentioned that it was in July 2022, as what his source shared. This was the time when Xian directed the movie Helloe Universe in which Iris was an associate producer.
Ogie’s co-host Dyosa Pockoh asked, “Kung totoo yan, two years na silang nagkakamabutihan?” The talent manager-vlogger made his co-host reiterate that it was just a question and not an affirmation. Ogie said that he does not know about this because they might just be friends or colleagues.
