Eat Bulaga host Tito Sotto has this reaction when asked about the final episode of their rival show Kapuso noontime show Tahanang Pinakamasaya.
Viewers of the Kapuso noontime show and netizens talked about the meaningful closing spiel that hosts Isko Moreno and Paolo Contis had during the March 2 episode.
Because of that, speculations surfaced that it was sort of bidding goodbye as they thanked all their sponsors. On March 4, it was confirmed that it was indeed the final episode, and the show was discontinued as a replay episode was released.
Based on the article in Balita, King of Talk Boy Abunda confirmed on his Fast Talk show that Tahanang Pinakamasaya was discontinued.
In a recent episode of veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin’s show, she discussed what happened to the Kapuso noontime show. She said that many people were asking about the reaction of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon to this matter.
To recall, Tahanang Pinakamasaya was previously using the Eat Bulaga title that was coined by Joey. A legal battle commenced because of this as TVJ was fighting that they had the right to use the title. Eventually, the court sided with the iconic trio.
Cristy shared what Tito said when asked about their rival show. “Alam mo, isa lang ang sinabi ni Tito Sen: ‘I’d rather not comment. Hindi naman kasi ako katulad nila.’ Totoo naman ‘yon. Napakatotoo. Mula sa puso po ‘yan,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.
She added that the former Senate President does not need to speak anything about the issue because they have nothing to prove anymore. Cristy also stressed that Tito was right when he said that they were not like the other camp.
The columnist highlighted that since the TVJ left TAPE Inc., they did not say anything against the other camp.
