Rumor has it that Angel Locsin will join ‘Ang Probinsyano’
Dreamscape Entertainment answered the rumor that A-list actress Angel Locsin, who is now having her showbiz hiatus, will join the cast of Kapamilya primetime action drama series Batang Quiapo.
Angel chose a quiet life now outside the glitz and glamour of showbiz. After getting married to her husband businessman Neil Arce, the actress opted to stop doing showbiz projects and eventually, she stopped using social media.
Despite her showbiz and social media hiatus, her fans are still anticipating her acting comeback. Her popularity is still high and fans have been expressing their hope that one of these days, she will return to acting.
In a recent article in Bandera, it was said that a rumor surfaced that Angel Locsin is returning to television and this is allegedly through Batang Quiapo, the primetime series of Coco Martin.
The rumor was started by a video that went viral claiming that Angel will be part of the said series. It was said that netizen Cheenee Antazo Rubio uploaded the video with the title “Angel Locsin in Batang Quiapo.”
Having doubts about this, Bandera entertainment writer Reggee Bonoan shared that they asked someone from Dreamscape Entertainment, the producer of the series, to shed light on this rumor. “Ay hindi po,” someone from Dreamscape said.
Meanwhile, in an interview last January, actress Dimples Romana, one of Angel Locsin’s closest friends, shared that the latter is now enjoying her private life and is happy doing personal stuff.
It has been a long time since Angel was seen in public. Dimple also shared that once in a while she would visit Angel in their house. Previously, it was reported that the A-list star is aware that her fans are looking for her.
