JACLYN JOSE DEATH – The veteran actress died suddenly and these famous personalities express their sadness over her untimely passing.
What a tragic, saddening loss for the entertainment industry.
PPL Entertainment Incorporated announced on March 4 that Jaclyn Jose (real name Mary Jane Guck) died at the age of 59. In a press conference on Monday afternoon, actress Andi Eigenmann confirmed Jaclyn’s death.
“Her undeniable legacy will definitely forever live on through her work, through her children, through her grandchidldren, and the many lives she’s touched. She herself, her life itself was her greatest obra maestra,” says the actress who is now based in Siargao.
There is no foul play in Jaclyn’s death. She died due to a myocardial infarction or heart attack on the morning of March 2.

Meanwhile, among the highlights of the veteran actress’ actress was winning the Cannes Film Festival. She is the first Filipino to take home the Best Actress title from this prestigious film fest for her performance in the 2016 film Ma’ Rosa. For this recognition, she was honored by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts at the Ani ng Dangal ceremony in 2017.
She is one of the most respected and multi-awarded actresses in the Philippines.
