Jericho Rosales wanted to set a good example when it comes to this
A-list actor Jericho Rosales asserted that former lovers can be friends, just like him and his ex-wife Kim Jones.
Jericho and Kim tied the knot in 2014. In 2022, rumors surfaced that they broke up. The actor dismissed the breakup rumors when he was asked about this.
Late last year, breakup rumors resurfaced. It is because of a blind item about a couple who already broke up years ago but they remained friends. In January, the actor was asked directly about the status of his relationship with the model. He just said that they are fantastic.
However, a few days after that, the A-list actor confirmed that he and Kim indeed broke up. This happened back in 2019. However, it is still obvious that they are friends.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Jericho said that ex-lovers may be friends. He shared that he and Kim were laughing at the commotion on social media regarding their breakup.
“We thought that it was the perfect time because the goal was really to show people that we’re good. We’re really good. We’ve crossed over, you know, we’ve transformed the relationship into something really special as friends,” the A-list actor said.
Even though they broke up years ago, they continue to support each other. Jericho even shared that he is supporting Kim’s recent project which is producing a film for someone.
The actor is also looking at the positive perspective even though their marriage did not work out. “I think the best part was that it was considered a ‘success’ when we felt that people understood and people saw that things like this can happen. And it shouldn’t always be sad. It shouldn’t always be a bad thing. You know what I mean?” he said.
Jericho Rosales also shared that they want to inspire other ex-lovers by showing them friendship can still be present after the breakup. He said that this is one of the best things that happened between him and Kim Jones and they hope other ex-lovers will be inspired by their story. “Hey, look, it can be done. You can be friends with your ex’,” the actor said.
