The Pag-IBIG Housing Loan is undeniably the most popular among the loan offers of the Fund. It has helped countless Filipinos achieve affordable residential properties as it is ready to finance the following purposes:

  • acquisition of residential property (vacant lot, house and lot, condominium unit, townhouse)
  • house construction / home renovation
  • home loan take-out / refinancing

The Pag-IBIG loan interest rates under the offer depend on the loan term chosen. Here are the rates based on the loan term:

The multi-purpose cash loan offer of the Fund is the Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan or also called the MPL. It can attend to multiple short-term needs including the payment of school fees, minor business expansion, car repair, travel, etc. A member may borrow up to an equivalent of 80% of his/her Pag-IBIG Regular Savings.

The Pag-IBIG loan interest rate under the offer is 10.5% per annum. The Fund boasts its offer for having the lowest interest rate. The loan is payable within 36 monthly installments.

In times of calamity, members of the Pag-IBIG Fund may turn to the Calamity Loan offer. Under it, the member may borrow “up to 80% of their total Pag-IBIG Regular Savings” which can greatly help in recovering from the impacts of the calamity.

With regards to the Pag-IBIG loan interest rates under the offer, there is a fixed rate at 5.95% per annum. The loan is payable within three (3) years. A member must apply for the loan within 90 days since the declaration of the State of Calamity by the Office of the President or the Sangguniang Bayan for their area of residence.
