Son of her Ate Viel says that they are still hopeful over the condition of Kris Aquino amid her health battles.
Dee, the son of Victoria Elisa “Viel” Aquino-Dee, reveals their family’s stand about Kris Aquino and her health condition.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Kris Aquino opened up about her health condition and shares update. She revealed what is about to happens and the next steps they are going to take for their treatment but her words that marked many people were: “I refuse to die.”
In a health update from Kris, Aquino said the next six months will be crucial as they will try a new medication which will take some risks in terms of her medication. The recent blood panel taken from her showed the worsening of her condition.
Adding to this unfortunate results, her hemoglobin dropped and the inflamed parts of her body doubled. Coming from a family with a history of heart problems, having autoimmune diseases made things more complicated. She has cardiomyopathy and anytime, she can suffer from a stroke.
Francis Joseph “Kiko” Aquino Dee, one of Kris’ nephews, son of her older sister Victoria Elisa “Viel” Aquino-Dee, spoke about her condition in behalf of their family. According to him, Aquino family remains hopeful as she is receiving the best care possible.
They are holding on to the clear path of her recovery despite the complications and side effects of her medications.
He said, “In whatever capacity we can, we really just hope for the best for her and we will do everything we can to make her fight with her illness… We’re a family, we love each other. No matter what happens, we’re there for each other naman. It’s not a good situation but at least, parang, you’re facing it with good people.”
This March, he is set to visit Kris in the US and he thanked the public for the love, prayers, and support they are giving her. It is humbling to receive such kind of support and he can only hope that they will work in order to be worthy of those.
