A coffin is a burial container used to hold and bury deceased human remains. Typically made of wood or metal, coffins are designed to encase the body for viewing during funeral ceremonies and to provide a decent means of interment.

They come in various shapes and sizes, ranging from simple rectangular boxes to more elaborate designs, depending on cultural and personal preferences. Coffins play an important role in many funeral traditions and are an important part of the burial process in numerous cultures worldwide.

During a funeral, the coffin is often placed where people can see it. Loved ones might say their goodbyes and share memories with the person who has passed away. The coffin holds the body respectfully during this time.

After the funeral, the coffin is buried in the ground, giving the person a final resting place. This burial is an important part of saying goodbye and honoring the person’s life.

Recently, the YouTube channel Boss Toyo Production featured Pasky Ilagan, the owner of St. Athanustus Memorial Chapel, who brought the casket to Boss Toyo’s shop and showed the video where Dingdong Dantes himself lay in the said coffin during the movie.

Being cautious, Jayson Luzadas asked Ilagan for proof to confirm that this was indeed used by the actor in the film. Boss Toyo examined it closely to ensure its legitimacy.

Ilagan initially planned to sell the metal casket for P1 million, which typically costs around P350,000 including the funeral service. However, the price dropped because it did not have Dingdong or Marian’s signatures.

Luzadas negotiated for P200,000, and the bargaining continued until the two agreed on the price of P250,000. Finally, the owner of Pinoy Pawn Star sold the coffin.

Jayson’s friends also tried lying in the coffin to experience it. The video immediately went viral and received various reactions from netizens.
