The primetime series of Coco Martin is in its second season
Kapamilya actor Coco Martin assured the fans of his series Batang Quiapo that they will show the never-before-seen scenes.
Coco has done a successful primetime series. Before Batang Qiapo, he did the longest-running primetime series Ang Probinsyano, which was also based on a movie of the late Da King Fernando Poe Jr.
The current Kapamilya series is now on its season 2 and Coco said that there are more explosive scenes that viewers should watch out for.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN News, Coco Martin shared that his character Tanggol will embrace a new chapter in his life after getting out of prison.
“Part na ito ng pagkalaya ni Tanggol. Aaralin na niya kung paano hawakan ang Quiapo at Maynila. Kasi sa bilangguan, nakilala ko ‘yung character ni Tito Nonie Buencamino, si Marcelo,” he shared.
Nonie’s character will teach Tanggol how he would his use brain and skills for good things and would stop him from getting involved in fights and killings.
Coco is also aware of the comments from viewers about the plot twist, including the death of Mokang, played by Lovi Poe. He assured the fans of the series that they would see the never-before-seen scenes.
“Sabi ko nga sandali lang, ipapalabas pa rin namin ‘yan, ‘yang mga nakita nilang eksena, magugulat sila kung paano namin sila ipapalabas,” he said.
The actor also said that difficult scenes would definitely leave a mark on the viewers. He stressed that the word “puchu-puchu” is not their thing. “The more na nahihirapan kami, the more na pinaghihirapan namin ang production o isang bagay na ginagawa namin,” he said.
Watching the difficult scenes they made, Coco Martin said that these gave them a sense of fulfillment and they would just wonder how they pulled it off. He also said that he is no longer affected by the ratings of their rival shows.
