Reymart Gaballo Finishes Fight vs Thai Foe Within 32 Seconds with 3 Knockout Punches
Filipino boxer Reymart Gaballo knockout Thai foe Phai Pharob with three (3) punches within 32 seconds of round 1.
The 27-year-old Filipino boxer successfully retained his WBO Oriental Bantamweight title at the Midas Hotel and Casino in Pasay City. Gaballo swiftly dispatched his opponent, Thai boxer Phai Pharob, with a barrage of three punches within thirty-two seconds into the first round.
The audience at the Midas Hotel barely settled into their seats for the main event of the evening when Gaballo unleashed a rapid combination, culminating in a left hook to Pharob’s liver. The powerful blow sent Pharob to the canvas, where he remained writhing in pain, unable to rise as referee Danrex Tapdasan counted him out.
With Pharob failing to beat the ten-count, Gaballo was declared the victor by knockout. Despite the WBO No. 1 bantamweight contender expecting a more extended bout, Gaballo’s dominant performance solidified his position as the mandatory challenger to reigning WBO Champion Jason Moloney of Australia.
As the Philippines currently lacks a world boxing champion from any of the four major bodies, Gaballo aims to become one of the nation’s brightest prospects in the sport, based on the report.
His local promoter, JC Manangquil of Sanman Promotions, confirmed their intention to pursue a title shot against Moloney. Gaballo stated his readiness to resume training immediately if called upon.
