Kapamilya actress Gillian Vicencio admitted that she had trauma after being dragged into the KathNiel issue.
Gillian was accused of being the reason why Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo broke up. It was alleged that she was having an affair with Daniel. However, Gillian has denied the allegations against her several times.
However, the allegations against her were recalled when netizens noticed that Kathryn unfollowed her on Instagram. She previously said in an interview that she was surprised that the Asia’s Superstar unfollowed her. After that, photos of her and Daniel Padilla surfaced on social media.
In a recent interview, Gillian Vicencio said that she did expect an apology from Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla after she was dragged into the issue.
The newbie actress also shared that she tried to contact Kathryn when the issue started to circulate. She said that she had no idea where the speculations started. Because of what happened, negative reactions rained over her.
Gillian also shared, based on the article in Newsko, that being dragged into the controversy surrounding the KathNiel breakup was a traumatic experience for her. She admitted that the bashing affected her.
“Hindi maiiwasan na makaramdam ka ng trauma. Hindi ko na matandaan ‘yung pinakamasakit na comment kasi marami po,” Gillian shared.
She is thankful that her family and friends were there to support her while she was going through this tough time. “Medyo okay-okay naman po ako ngayon,” Gillian Vicencio said.
Despite what happened, the newbie actress said that she is open to doing a project with either Daniel or Kathryn.
Gillian was part of the most recent KathNiel series 2 Good 2 Be True. She was also one of the cast members in Kathryn’s A Very Good Girl movie with Dolly de Leon.
