Police Arrests Drunk Woman for Throwing Stones at Motorists
A drunk woman was arrested after throwing stones at a motorist and biting a barangay official in Barangay Project 6, Quezon City.
Alcohol intoxication, a common occurrence in many social settings, refers to the physical and mental impairment caused by consuming alcoholic beverages.
While alcohol can create a sense of relaxation and euphoria for some individuals, its effects can vary widely depending on factors such as body weight, metabolism, and tolerance levels.
Recently, a CCTV footage captured a drunk woman standing in the middle of the road, throwing her slippers at cars and motorcycle riders passing by.
Despite the response of barangay officials and her arrest, she continued to act aggressively even after being restrained. She even kicked one of the barangay tanods who attempted to detain her.
Project 6 deputy station commander Police Major Octavio Ingles Jr. said that the woman was intoxicated and accompanied by her girlfriend when the incident happened.
“Nung nalaman po nakita ng ating mga taga-Barangay Project 6, agad po nila pinuntahan at nung kanilang aarestuhin ‘yung babae sila po ay pinagmumura. ‘Yung isang BPSO po natin kanyang nasaktan at ‘yung isa rin pong kagawad nakagat po niya sa tagiliran at braso,” Ingles said.
This isn’t the first time the suspect has been involved in such an incident, according to the investigation. The suspect claimed that her girlfriend broke up with her during the time of the incident.
“Sobrang kalasingan ko sir wala na po ako sa uwisyo. Hindi ko na talaga matandaan nangyari. Humihingi po talaga ako ng pasensya talagang sobrang pagsisisi ko,” the suspect said.

The female suspect shared the lesson she learned from the incident saying young people should not drink anymore. The culprit now faces charges of alarm and scandal, resistance and disobedience, and direct assault upon an agent of a person in authority.
