Overcast skies with scattered rains on Thursday (February 8, 2024) and good weather conditions are expected in Metro Davao from Friday to Saturday. Possible flash floods or landslides are expected during severe thunderstorms.
“Sa ngayon din wala pa rin tayong mino-monitor na ano mang low pressure area, so ibig sabihin medyo maliit pa ‘yung tiyansa magkaroon tayo ng bagyo hanggang sa pagtatapos ng linggong ito,” Badrina said.
Badrina said that no low-pressure area is being monitored in any part of the country. At least one typhoon is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility for February.
During the weekend, some parts of the country may expect generally fair weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over extreme northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
