Heartbreaking Video of Young Boy Kissing Photo Cushion of Deceased Dad Elicits Reactions Online
The heartwarming video of a young boy named Yvo kissing a photo cushion of his deceased dad touches many hearts.
Last November 2024, Yvo’s father, Mikee began experiencing symptoms such as fever, a sore throat, and facial swelling. Initially diagnosed with a bacterial infection, Mikee’s condition worsened until doctors discovered he had Ludwig’s Angina, coming from a tooth infection.
Mikee underwent surgery to remove the infected tooth but he experienced complications, leading to cardiac arrest. He was comatose for a month and passed away on December 17, 2024.
EOIC owner Dr. Albert Espiritu, an expert interviewed emphasized the importance of dental care in preventing such life-threatening conditions. He explained that the infection originates from dental issues and can be life-threatening if left untreated.
Recently, a heartbreaking video of the young boy’s affectionate moments with a photo cushion and a pillow of his late dad circulated online. The video garnered various reactions from the internet users.
In the viral TikTok video, Yvo is kissing, hugging, and speaking to the photo cushion, which bears the image of his father. The pillow is adorned with his father’s picture, along with another pillow covered in his father’s shirt.

The video’s caption reads, “Hanap ng hanap si Yvo sa Papa Mikee nya kaya nilagay ko yung huling damit niya na sinuot sa unan.”
The woman said she did not expect her son’s reaction, “I’m not expecting na ganito ang magiging reaction ni Yvo.”
“Na sad din ako kasi, sobrang miss na miss ni Yvo si Papa Mikee niya. Hindi pa kasi niya alam ang concept ng pagkawala o pagkamatay,” Andus shared.
