Many were brokenhearted and saddened still over the split of KathNiel – the collective name of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. It wasn’t just the disbandment of the famous and successful love team but it was also the end of their relationship that lasted for 11 years.
In the statement of Daniel, he expressed despite their separation, “Bal, ang pagmamahal ko sayo ay walang hanggan at walang katapusan.”
This confirmation from them came after several months of speculations. But just like always, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel and there are certainly valuable lessons people learned from them. One of these lessons is the reality that love will always be there no matter what happened.
The couple may lose the spark but the love will remain. Their split is also a reminder to us that it is essential to know when to leave and to have respect for each other in a breakup. Nearly two months after the split was confirmed, the actor close to KathNiel in real life finally spoke and he’s just as sad as many of us.
In a previous article, Dominic revealed that he and Daniel have not spoken since 2020. They might have a fallout but he was a friend and had the time to witness their relationship as a love team and real-life couple.
The falling out with Daniel was part of Dominic’s revelations about KathNiel.
“Nakakalungkot kasi, you know, I’ve been part of their journey din as a love team. Nakita ko rin sila kung paano sila lumaki, paano nila ginawa yun mga bagay together,” he said.
Dominic then added, “Nakakalungkot, talagang nasaktan din ako.”
He and Daniel may have an issue but his communication with Kathryn was never cut off. She is actually invited to his wedding with Bea Alonzo.
