In an interview, former Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano shares what she’s up to as she’s preparing for her big comeback.
Making waves on social media since last year is actress Liza Soberano. This is after she landed her first Hollywood role as Taffy in the upcoming coming-of-age film “Lisa Frankenstein”.
Her role did not only win Filipino hearts but also caught the eye of the movie’s screenwriter Diablo Cody.
Liza’s role in “Lisa Frankenstein” is accordingly a “a beacon of positivity” and her role is the protective sister to Lisa. She is not the mean girl in the movie but rather being mistakenly resented by Liza because Taffy is “she’s effortlessly beautiful and popular”.
This film is distributed by Universal Pictures International and will open in cinemas on February 7, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
In an interview, the actress recently shared that she will be making a big comeback this 2024. A lineup of projects and works are waiting her and she is excited. The first on that list is her Hollywood film. She’ll also be doing more acting projects but apart from this, there’s one thing that will accordingly keep her busy this year.
“I started my own production studio and I currently have 7 projects in development, some of which I will be acting in, some I will be completely on the back-end producing for other artists,” she shared.
As she welcomed the new year, she is also embracing her career advancement fully including everything that comes in between. She is determined to “immerse in the process, to relish it, and to look back without any regrets, remembering the enjoyable and remarkable projects”.
In the same interview, she also thanked her solo fans and the LizQuen fans despite the absence of the love team for a time now. She is thankful for their support and love and she hopes that she could make them proud of her future endeavors.
