Alden Richards talked about his career and personal life in a recent interview
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards directly answered the rumors questioning his gender identity.
Alden is indeed one of the most in-demand actors of his generation. These past years, he showcased his acting caliber by doing projects with different genres. He also proved that in the world of business, he can also have success from his hard work and determination.
In a recent interview on Toni Talks, the YouTube talk show of Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga, the Kapuso actor opened up about his journey in showbiz and his life behind the camera.
Alden Richards went through different intrigues with his 13 years in the entertainment industry. During the interview, he was asked about the rumors that were attacked against him.
One of those rumors was about him and his former loveteam partner Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza. Their tandem was known as AlDub and it was a phenomenal loveteam that started in Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.
Rumor has it that Alden and Maine were married and that they had a child. There had been several instances that which the two celebrities addressed this issue and clarified that there was no truth to that.
However, even though Maine is now married to Arjo Atayde and the clarifications that have been made, there are still AlDub fans who strongly believe in these rumors. Alden said that after saying his piece, he just let those fans believe what they wanted to believe because this makes them happy.
Then, Alden Richards was asked what he was tired of hearing. He said it is about the gender issue. Just like the AlDub rumors, the actor said that he just let what the people want to think about him. “Tingin niyo bading, fine,” he said.
He added that sometimes when the gay rumor keeps on popping up, he would just react, “wala na bang iba?” Toni acknowledged the common perception in showbiz that if a male celebrity is single, gay rumors would easily circulate.
Alden Richards stressed that he will not give in to the public’s perception and be in a relationship even though he is not ready yet just to debunk the gender issue.
