A few years ago, spending a P100 was the limit for meals during work. However, Jamie acknowledged the great change in his situation. While they may not have reached all their goals, they have come a long way.

“Walang ibang may alam ng pinagdadaanan natin mga beshie kung di tayo lang. sa iba ang nakikita nila either wala ka pang naaabot or baka tingin sayo ang galing at yaman mo na. Pero kung ano man tingin ng iba, ang mas importante at the end of the day is ikaw. How did you get to where you are right now,” he said.
Jamie expressed the importance of self-awareness and self-appreciation. He said that what truly matters at the end of the day is one’s own journey and the resilience shown to get to where they are now.
“I am proud of us for holding on and still keeping our heads up. Di perfect ang mundo pati tayo. May mga mali at pinagsisisihan. May mga sakripisyong di nila malalaman. Basta kung ano pa man, salamat sa patuloy na paniniwala na may pag-asa at darating ang araw lahat ng pangarao natin maisasabuhay natin,” he added.
