In a Tiktok video circulated online and in the video, Mendez claimed that the Kapuso actor becomes touchy when drunk and she was accordingly speaking based on her experience. There was a time when she was with him when he got drunk and as soon as he got under the influence of alcohol, he became touchy towards her and this is the same thing that happened to the other girls around them.
She even added that he also became a bit aggressive.
“Nagiging touchy na siya. Hindi lang naman sa’kin… Pero kung kilala mo yung tao parang normal lang. Parang makulit lang. Pero nung tumagal-tagal na… dun na siya nagiging aggressive,” she claimed.
This one time was during the birthday party of their common friend where both of them got invited and they were the only celebrities who attended this event. This is where the cropped photo of them was taken and the same photo that created a loud buzz online.
In the same inteerview, Mendez clarified that nothing happened between them and that he is not her type.
