What is the status of Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan’s relationship?
Megastar Sharon Cuneta excluded her husband former Senator Kiko Pangilinan in her Christmas greetings and because of this, breakup speculations surfaced.
Sharon and Kiko have been married since 1994. They are blessed with two daughters Frankie and Miel and have an adopted son named Miguel. Sharon’s daughter with Gabby, KC Concepcion, also considers Kiko as her second father.
However, their family became controversial this year when news about Sharon’s reunion concert with her ex-husband Gabby Concepcion circulated.
KC admitted that she unfollowed her half-sister Frankie and her stepdad Kiko on Instagram and said that this was for her peace of mind. However, she stressed that this does not mean that she does not love them anymore.
After Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion’s reunion concert, the Megastar made a statement in an interview that garnered speculations that her marriage with Kiko Pangilinan is on the rocks. She said that she should have stayed alone after her first marriage failed.
Amid the breakup rumors, Kiko still showed support through his post to Sharon as he promoted her project and called the Megastar his “wife.”
However, after the singer-actress posted her Christmas greetings, netizens once again speculated that her relationship with the former senator is going through a problem. Across her social media pages, Sharon shared the same photo and it can be noticed that Kiko’s head was not included in the photo.
Her caption was even more intriguing, for some netizens. “Merry Christmas from me and my four angels (my gremlins). Love you all!!!” Sharon wrote.
On the other hand, Sharon Cuneta shared an appreciation post for her Vicky Pangilinan who she considers her sister. “No matter what and no matter what the future holds for either of us, we will be sisters and best friends forever, my dearest beloved Ate Vicky! I love you with all my heart. Thank you for all that you’ve been and are to me!” the Megastar wrote.
With the exclusion of Kiko in Sharon’s greetings, it was inevitable for netizens to comment but their reactions varied. Some said that this was just for “promo” while some said that Sharon wanted to be included in “hiwalayan” issue in showbiz this year.
