Newly-Licensed Teacher Shares Dad’s Reaction After Mistaking LET Results for Aid List

Newly-Licensed Teacher Goes Viral for Sharing Dad’s Reaction After Mistaking LET Results for Aid List

A newly-licensed teacher has shared his dad’s reaction after mistaking the September 2023 LET results for an aid list.

Recently, Art John Arguelles, a Facebook user, shared a photo that gathered thousands of laughing reactions, showcasing his father’s response upon learning that he passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

The LET taker was outside when the results came out and his family had no idea about it. He sent the screenshot of the exam results in their family’s group chat thinking that they would be surprised.

However, Art’s father, who happened to be online at that moment, was the first to see the screenshot and mistakenly thought it was a list of beneficiaries for cash assistance. The mix-up occurred because Art didn’t circle his name and provided no context, making it appear like an aid list.

“I’m outside when the results came out, and my family had no idea about it. So when I sent the screenshot, I knew it would be a surprise. My dad happened to be online at that moment, and he was the first one to see it. He thought it was a list of aid because I didn’t circle my name, and it looked like a list of assistance. I didn’t give any context; I just sent the screenshot and added that I am now a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT). That’s it,” he said.

However, John’s father was genuinely happy about his LET success. “Super happy naman siya na nakapasa ako sa LET and excited na siya for oath taking,” he added.
