Kathryn Bernardo shares the latest update after the breakup confirmation
Actress Kathryn Bernardo, almost five days since she confirmed her breakup with actor Daniel Padilla, shared this social media update.
In an Instagram post on November 30, Kathryn finally spoke about the real status of her relationship with Daniel. There had been rumors about their separation circulating for days but they were silent.
Last week, the former confirmed the truth that was feared by KathNiel fans. After Kathryn’s post confirming their breakup, Daniel also shared a statement echoing the breakup confirmation first made by his ex-girlfriend.
Fans lamented this separation, as well as their friends in the entertainment industry who saw their growth as loveteam partners and a couple in real life.
However, this breakup became controversial, just like many breakups in show business. Cheating allegations surfaced against Daniel and two women were linked to him. It was alleged that he cheated on Kathryn with Andrea Brillante. Rumors also surfaced linking the actor to Gillian Vicencio.
For several days, Kathryn and Daniel were silent after their breakup confirmation. On December 5, the actress finally shared an update. In her Instagram post, she showcased her new color.
“I hope santa still recognizes me with orange hair,” Kathryn wrote in the caption of her post.
In the comment section of her post, Kath’s friends showed support for her. They all agreed that she would receive a blessing this holiday season while some commended her looks. One of her closest friends comedian Alora Sasam even said, “Of course darleng! You’ve been very kind this year [green heart emoji].”
To recall, Alora got bashed by KathNiel fans for posting a meme after the breakup confirmation. Fans believed that it was inappropriate to share a funny post amid this situation. Alora deleted her post and apologized to the public.
