Kapuso actor-host Rayver Cruz speaks about marrying Julie Anne San Jose and when he is going to propose to her.
After several TikTok dances together and sharing sweet glances on television, Kapuso stars Rayver Cruz and Julie Anne San Jose made their relationship official. The confirmation was made last November 2022 when they exchanged “I love yous” during the singer-actress’ “Julieverse” concert.
They opened up about their relationship in a previous interview and shared that it all started in 2018 when Rayver transferred to GMA.
They were friends and remained pals for a long time and several things have changed in the long run. It is possible to fall in love with a best friend and as for them, it is great to have friendship as the start of a relationship.
Ever since the two confirmed their relationship, talks and questions about them settling down have become restless. And recently, in an event, Rayver made one thing clear regarding his intentions about the actress.
He set things straight up by saying: “I will marry Julie Anne San Jose.”
But for now, he can’t tell when is this happening. There’s no timetable but he knows it’s going to happen as they are not getting younger, he wants his own family, and this is his goal.
“Mahirap pang sabihin kung ano yung exact, pero alam ng Panginoong Diyos at alam naman niya kung gaano ko siya kamahal,” he said. He even added that they match in many ways from their passions, hobbies, love for music, and others. He has found in her everything he wants for a woman he would want to settle down with.
As for the wedding, he wants something simple and ideal. Just like a lot of people, he also wants to marry in a church and gather their family. His perfect role model when it comes to building his own family is his brother Rodjun Cruz who is married to Dianne Medina.
He expressed, “Masuwerte ako na may kuya ako na kagaya niya, family man, he loves his family so much.”
