Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu was asked about the status of her relationship with Xian Lim amid the rumors and this is her answer.
A lot would say that this is this year’s breakup season because of the several celebrity couples rumored to have broken up. One of those rumored as not together any more is KimXi or Kim Chiu and Xian Lim.
These two have been together since 2012 but it was in 2018 when they finally made it official.
Kim and Xian’s split rumors started when people noticed that they were no longer posting each other on social media. They have been absent and the last time was when they went to Hong Kong. This was their last vacation abroad when the rumors started.
In the recent solo trip of the actress, the rumor was just fueled by. As much as we all know, the pair is known to be travelers and they have always been together and to see them traveling without each other based on their social media updates is odd.
Recently, during the 25th-anniversary fashion show of Filipino designer Francis Libiran on Friday night, November 24, at the City of Dreams Manila, the actress was asked and she responded.
“Grabe … sa amin na lang ‘yun, we’ll just keep it to ourselves na muna,” Chiu said. This indicates that she is aware of the rumors, however, she is not ready to tell the truth yet.
To recall, she earlier denied rumors that she and her boyfriend had called it quits. Her words were, “Okay naman po kami ni Xi.”
This is not the first time that they are rumored to have broken up.
Meanwhile, the actress will be doing the remake of the hit Korean show “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” with “Linlang” leading man Paulo Avelino. It will be released in 2024.
