Truth be told that the Retirement Benefit is the most motivational factor why GSIS members do their best to maintain an active and updated account. It is an assurance that you will not be financially left with nothing after you retire from work.

There are pretty good GSIS Retirement Benefits under R.A. 660 Magic 87 as well as the GSIS Retirement Benefits under R.A. 1616 “Take All”. However, not all members can meet the required number of contributions. This is where the GSIS Portability Law sets in.
