KATHNIEL ISSUE – Award-winning director Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana was asked about the issue and this is what she said.
Much has been said about Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. At present times, they are again facing another split rumor but this is no longer new. The couple has been facing this kind of rumor every year but this one is different.
Why different? Because actress Andrea Brillantes is involved and is alleged to be the third party.
In a previous article, Daniel made a statement amid the issue for the fans and he assured them through his statement that he had everything covered. In his statement, he seemingly implied that they had nothing to worry about.
“Relax na kayo gaming mga Kathniels… tama na ang pag aalala, Breathe… Ako na ang bahala sa lahat,” it stated.
Kathryn and Andrea remained silent. However, six days ago as of this posting, Kathryn unfollowed Andrea which fueled the rumors. Shortly after, Andrea unfollowed Kathryn as well.
Amid the unfollowing saga, netizens also spotted Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana not following Daniel on IG but following Kathryn. What does this mean?
In response to the clamor, the director spoke and shared that she’s not been following the actor ever since because she doesn’t know his real account. She also distanced herself from the split issue and would like to not say anything about it.
“Wala talaga kayong makikitang supremo dj sa followed ko kasi hindi ko naman siya fina-follow noon pa. Di ko alam totoong account niya kasi. 20 nga lang fina follow ko e. Noon pa. Kaya Huwag na po nating gawing issue. Wala nga akong alam inangkupo,” she said.
Direk Cathy has worked with KathNiel in television series such as Got to Believe (2013), Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2015), and La Luna Sangre (2017), and two of the box office films of the couple such as She’s Dating The Gangster (2014) and The Hows of Us (2018).
