The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has been added to the list of the government offices that the people can turn to for a Burial Assistance. Its offer is extended for the bereaved families of individuals who belong to the indigent, vulnerable, and disadvantaged categories.
To apply for the OVP Burial Assistance in the Philippines, it is important to prepare all the documentary requirements right away. Make sure you have the following:
- duly-accomplished and signed OVP Burial Assistance Application Form
- original copy of the Social Case Study Report or Certificate of Indigency/ Eligibility
- photocopy of Registered Death Certificate
- photocopy of at least one (1) valid Identification Card of Deceased and Authorized Representative
The application for the OVP Burial Assistance offer must be filed within 15 calendar days including weekends and holidays from the date of the death of the deceased. Otherwise, the claim application may not be considered eligible for the offer.
