Rosmar Tan Loses Php 500k, Calls Out Bank

Businesswoman and social media personality Rosmar Tan airs fury at a bank after her account lost a total amount of Php 500k.

Rosemarie Penamora Tan or Rosmar Tan is a Filipina entrepreneur and social media influencer. She is famous on various social media platforms and on TikTok alone, she already garnered over 15 million followers.

Previously, Rosmar shared her monthly electric bill. She went viral after sharing that her monthly bill for electricity alone reached Php 50,000.00.

She is the founder and CEO of Rosmar International, a skin, beauty, and cosmetics brand. She also owns a coffee brand. She has exceptional entrepreneurial skills and a strong social media presence which made her a notable figure in the beauty and cosmetics industry.

However, just recently, the famous personality encountered some problems with her bank account making her lose a total amount of Php 500,000.00. This is a pretty huge amount of money to lose overnight without knowing how this was lost.

In a Facebook post, she called out the bank and in fury, detailed what happened.

Accordingly, her username was retrieved and she doesn’t know how someone can know something as personal as this. Her password was changed and the device of her account was changed to a different cellphone model. No OTP was sent to her to notify these changes.

And lastly, from the Php 20,000.00 limit, it was turned into Php 500,000.00.

“ganun ganun lang? anong kwenta ng OTP? Wala man lang ako natanggap na OTP na nawalan na pala ako ng 500k ng ganun ganun lang?” she wrote expressing her dismay to what happened.

She’s confused as to how this happened and who accessed her account with so much ease despite the security.

In the comment, she added, “tapos di daw sure kung mababalik imbestigahan daw haaays.”
