Victory Liner Releases Official Statement Over Disturbing Incident in Nueva Ecija
VICTORY LINER INCIDENT – The Victory Liner Inc. has issued an official statement on the viral shooting incident in Nueva Ecija.
Over the past few days, Victory Liner Inc. has become one of the most trending topics on social media after a disturbing video of a shooting incident in Nueva Ecija circulated online, causing fear among Filipino commuters.
The victims were identified as 60-year-old Gloria Mendoza Quillano from Sta. Lucia, Cauayan City, Isabela, and 50-year-old Arman Bautista, hailing from Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The couple boarded the bus in Cauayan City, Isabela while the suspects got on in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
In the video, the suspects, who were passengers stand up and proceed to the front near the vehicle’s exit. The gunman shot the sleeping couple seated at the front and urged the driver to stop.
The culprits quickly got out of the bus and fled. The two stepped out of the public utility vehicle as if nothing happened. Aside from their targets, no one else was hurt in the incident.
The bus driver and his passengers immediately went to PNP Caranglan to report the incident.
The police authorities will conduct further investigation regarding the incident to locate and identify the individuals involved in this gruesome crime.
