PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that LPA, shearline, and amihan will bring rain over parts of the country.

“Itong low-pressure area na ito, sa ngayon, ay mas bumaba ang tsansa na magiging bagyo sa mga susunod na mga oras. Inaasahan natin na mananatiling mababa yung tsansa nito na magiging bagyo within the next 48 hours,” weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo said.

LPA will bring rains over the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga region by Sunday (November 19).

The shear line will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and Aurora.

Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of CALABARZON.
