There are several grounds in the Philippines that require a mandatory membership to the Pag-IBIG Fund. Here is a list of some of the grounds that mandate the keeping of an active and updated account with the Fund:

Most often, mandatory memberships to the Pag-IBIG Fund automatically deduct the monthly contributions from the salary of the member. The rate is based on the Pag-IBIG Contribution Table 2023.
