Police Authorities Arrest 4 Salisi Gang Members in QC Mall
The Anonas Police Station arrested four salisi gang members who were nabbed at a mall in Quezon City but two of them were able to escape.
Recently, four individuals believed to be members of the notorious “Salisi Gang” were arrested at a mall in Barangay Pansol. The authorities identified the suspects as Sabel Acuna, Wheng Ramos, Ainie Rabe, and Arvilyn Mamaran.
The suspects were nabbed after they allegedly used a stolen credit card to purchase a cellphone. The victim, a senior citizen, noticed the missing credit card when about to pay at a restaurant.

A notification from the bank revealed an unauthorized purchase of a cellphone amounting to P84,990. The victim promptly reported the incident to the police.
CCTV footage from a store in the mall captured the suspects buying the cellphone. According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Ferdinand Casiano, head of the Anonas Police Station, the suspects immediately created fake IDs that matched the name on the stolen credit card.
“Nakapagpagawa agad sila, same lang doon sa pangalan sa credit card,” said Casiano.
Although the police successfully apprehended four suspects at the mall, two of their colleagues managed to escape. The store employees positively identified the apprehended suspects. The cell phone and credit card were recovered from the suspects.
Some of the suspects denied the allegations, while others mentioned that they would explain their side in court. According to the police, the suspects operate their modus operandi in Metro Manila.
