Actress-model Arci Munoz shares in her latest video a story of how someone from the business class stole her credit cards.
Stealing is everywhere. Whether you are on air or on land, dangerous people are lurking everywhere. Even if you are flying in a plane, a crime can still happen, and take it from Filipina actress Arci Munoz.
She shared in her latest post the details of an alleged theft while she was onboard of a plane’s business class.
The actress shared the story in detail and she hopes that her story will serve as a warning to the other people. The incident accordingly happened during her layover flight from Japan.
She boarded a Korean Air flight bound for Incheon, South Korea as she was on her way home.
Arci recalled that she was sleeping in her cubicle when she was woken up by the signal that the airplane was about to land. She caught this guy rummaging through her unit’s magazines which made her wonder why.
She initially did not have any thought that something was stolen from her even if she saw her bag on the floor already and a lady nearby her was telling her that the man touched her bag.
“We called the flight attendant and the woman na nakakita, she said na ginalaw niya ‘yung bag and that’s not right,” Arci said. “And then the guy, dine-deny niya.”
In her video, she expressed that she did not notice anything missing until a couple of days after that incident. She received a notification for credit card transactions in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and Jakarta, Indonesia. She surmised that this was a modus operandi for in-flight theft.
The reason why she’s also sharing this story is for other people to prevent this from happening. She was able to notify her bank about the incident before the situation got out of hand even more and appropriate actions were immediately taken which she was thankful for.
“I left my email with [Korean Air] because I was not able to report. I hope to hear from you guys and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, because if he did this once for sure he’s gonna do it again. Not until we do something to stop it,” Arci said.
