Michelle Dee flies to El Salvador for Miss Universe 2023
On November 2, Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee officially started her Miss Universe journey.
Michelle is ready to bring home the fifth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines. The Pinay beauty queen has been receiving heartwarming and inspiring words from pageant enthusiasts. Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach also expresses that she believes Michelle has a “fighting chance.”
Despite her optimism, Michelle shared in a previous interview that she is ready to accept whatever the pageant result is.
After a lot of preparations, Michelle Dee finally began her Miss Universe journey as she flew to El Salvador where this year’s pageant will be held.
The Kapuso star donned in chic denim dress. She looked so elegant and beautiful with the small Philippine flag she was waving. In her Instagram post, Michelle shared that she brought with her 72 outfits.
Michelle also thanked everyone who went to the airport to send her off and show support for her Miss Universe stint. “To everyone who sent me off!! Grabe kayo! Nakakataba po talaga ng puso. Remember that i’m not flying alone, but with all of your love and support fueling me,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
With the start of Michelle Dee’s Miss Universe journey, the voting for the semifinals has started. The official Instagram page of the Miss Universe Philippines encouraged Filipinos to support the Pinay beauty queen.
“PILIPINAS! Let’s show everyone the power of the Filipino’s bayanihan spirit by all voting at the same time today, Nov.3, at 6:00 pm! Together, we can make the Philippines No. 1,” the post stated.
