PAGASA Says 3 Weather Systems to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH
PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that three weather systems will bring rain over parts of the country.
On Thursday (November 2, 2023), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area was last spotted over the coastal waters of Isabela and had already dissipated. However, rains are still expected to prevail over some parts of the country.
“Kagabi po ay tuluyan [na] pong nalusaw itong binabantayan nating LPA sa bandang Isabela. Kasalukuyan po, wala pa tayong binabantayang bagong LPA o bagyo sa dagat Pasipiko lalo na sa loob ng ating Philippine area of responsibility,” said Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio.
The Shear Line will be affecting the eastern sections of Northern Luzon and Central Luzon. Northeast Monsoon would affect the rest of Northern and Central Luzon.
The shear line will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon.
The northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over the rest of Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
The localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The weather agency has warned the public about possible flooding or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

“Paalala po sa mga kababayan natin na patuloy pa rin tayong mag-ingat dahil sa pag-ulan na posibleng magdulot ng pagbaha o pagguho ng lupa,” Aurelio added.
The coastal water condition over Northern and Central Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to PAGASA.
