The reunion of Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta too decades before it became a reality. Through the “Dear Heart” concert, the reunion finally happened at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 27.
To recall, their first movie is called “Dear Heart”. They tied the knot in 1984, separated in 1987, and their marriage was annulled in 1994. The last movie that they did was “Tayong Dalawa” in 1992.
And present during this much-awaited concert favorite legendary 80s love team is their daughter KC Concepcion. This event warmed many hearts, brought a roller coaster of emotions to the fans, and proved that ShaGab’s chemistry has never lost its luster after all these years.
KC joining her parents on stage was one of the night’s highlights. KC’s reunion with her parents is a fairy tale come true for her. During the concert, she told the crowd that it was really her earnest dream to see both of her parents together on stage.
She said, “Yung past, past na yun eh. What matters is yung ngayon at ang bukas. Parehas ko kayong mahal na mahal na mahal! You both are my dear heart.”
KC added based on a post from PEP, “Ma, I love you so much. Pa, I love you so much.”
In the same event, the former couple talked about their past and shared some facts about what they recall about each other. According to Sharon, Gabby is her “kapantay” when it comes to being “malambing”. As for Gabby, he expressed that he has always treasured her cooking such as her chicken curry and arroz a la cubana with two eggs on top.
Meanwhile, KC came to the concert with her businessman boyfriend.
In a previous article, during the concert, KC’s boyfriend received a warning from the Megastar. As much as we all know, KC is in a relationship with Steve Michael Wüthrich, a Filipino-Swiss guy.
“Michael, dalawang panday ang nandito, sina Senator Bong (Revilla) at Coco (Martin),” she said jokingly which drew laughter from the crowd.
