What all started with a romantic proposal ended up messy. The breakup of famous personalities Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes remained a much-talked-about topic online.
Last June, Ricci confirmed his separation from Andrea and since then, the topic about them has been restless. Rivero granted interviews and in one of the first interviews he graced, he made several revelations like sleeping together while they were still a couple.
Recently, in the show of DJ Jhai Ho, Rivero made more revelations in his pursuit to clear his name and defend his new relationship. In a message that he sent to the host, he explained the timeline of the time when he and the actress broke up and when he met Leren Bautista.
According to him, he met Leren on May 26 and at this time, he is already single. However, their split was not publicized right away because Andrea had told him to not reveal it yet for her career.
Before they even called it quits officially, it was Andrea who was attempting to fix the relationship to make it work. According to Rivero, she was the one who came to his place to talk to him to rekindle their romance but he never agreed until she eventually got tired.
“Nakikipagbalikan siya and yung last time nung May 6, sinabi niya na wala na, end na, because of the girl na alam naman niya na kasama ng friend ko na pumunta doon,” he has stated in the message.
In another of it, he expressed, “Pumupunta siya ng condo ko ng madaling araw ilang beses. For what? Para makipagbalikan. Nag-yes ba ako? Hindi. Kasi ayoko na and sinabi ko yan sa kanya paulit-ulit.”
