PHILIPPINE DESTINATIONS – Found in the central part of the country is the Visayas and here are some of the places you must visit not really known by many.
The largest islands of Visayas are Samar, Negros, Panay, Leyte, Cebu, and Bohol. Anywhere in this part of the country has a beach or dive site. The most famous tourist destination is the Boracay Island. This place is loved for its blue water, quiet island life, and white sands.
There are also a lot of attractions in Boracay like Puka Island, White Beach, Willy’s Rock, and others. There’s also Bohol which is famous for its chocolate hills and Cebu which has a rich cultural history.
However, if you want somewhere not as famous and crowded as Bora, here are some you must visit:
- Antique
This is just a few hours away from Bora. You will definitely enjoy the kawa hot bath, idyllic beaches, rice terraces, waterfalls, clear rivers and springs, mountain highlands, and breathtaking cliffs. - Capiz
This is located on Panay Island and its Capital is Roxas City. This is the country’s Seafood Capital. You may explore this place by visiting, historic and religious spots, waterfalls, and caves with gorgeous stalactites and stalagmites. This place has Baybay Beach, Olotayan Island, Mantalinga Island, Palina Greenbelt Ecopark, Suhot Cave and Spring, and Malinamon Falls.
