Police Authorities Arrest Driver for Stealing Luxury Minivan from Former Employer
QUEZON CITY – A driver was placed behind bars for stealing a luxury minivan belonging to his foreign national former employer.

Last Friday (October 20, 2023), a man stole a luxury minivan from his former employer in Barangay Bagumbayan, Quezon City. The robbery incident was caught on CCTV, which may serve as important evidence in the investigation.
The CCTV footage revealed the ex-driver’s arrival at his former employer’s house, accompanied by an accomplice in another vehicle. The video shows the thief taking the wheel of the stolen luxury minivan.
The foreign national who owns the van was left distraught by the betrayal of their former driver. The suspect even demanded a ransom of P100,000 in exchange for the safe return of the stolen vehicle.
The authorities immediately launched an operation to apprehend the culprits. The driver was taken into custody after the successful entrapment operation on Diosdado Macapagal Avenue in Tambo, Paranaque City.
