Catherine Camilon Case: Police Identify Person Of Interest

Police find a new development in Catherine Camilon case

Authorities identify the person of interest in the disappearance of Miss Grand Philippines 2023 Catherine Camilon.

Catherine was reported missing on October 13. The last time her family was able to contact her was on the night of October 12. CCTV footage showed that she was in a mall in Batangas at around 7 in the evening. She is a teacher in Tuy, Batangas.

Catherine’s mom Rosario revealed that the beauty queen told her that she was going to Balisong Channel, an online media company, where she worked before as a talent.

Previously, the family of the beauty queen said that she is single and this eliminates the possibility that she ran away with a partner.

However, the company released a statement clarifying that it has been more than a year since Catherine Camilon went to their office and that they have no talk between them regarding future projects.

In a recent report from GMA News, it was stated that the police already identified the person of interest in this case.

As per [Regional Director Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas], yes po,” PRO 4A Public Information Office chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Chitadel Gaoiran answered when asked if they already have a person of interest.

The officer added, “Tuloy-tuloy pa din po ang pangangalap ng mga impormasyon para mas matukoy po yung pagkakakilanlan ng POI.” In a previous report, authorities expressed optimism that the beauty queen is still alive.

Meanwhile, Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste visited Catherine Camilon’s family just recently and promised that he would give a P100,000 reward to anyone who could give information about Catherine’s location.

People can contact Tuy Municipal Police Station on the Station Hotline 0998-598-5711 for any information about the disappearance of Catherine Camilon.
