METRO MANILA FILM FESTIVAL 2023 – Dingdong and Marian’s reunion movie and Sharon Cuneta and Alden Richards’ first film are included. There will be 10 films as official entries to be shown in this year’s MMFF. The first batch of films was chosen based on script submissions, while the second batch was all completed films already.

There will be 10 MMFF 2023 movies as official entries and here’s a list.
MMFF 2023 – This year’s Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) announced that there will be 10 entries to be offered to the moviegoers.
This year’s much-anticipated Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is on its 49th edition. Recently, the full lineup of entries for 2023 has been announced and this year, the films will be available to watch from December. 25, 2023, Christmas Day, to January 7, 2024.
To recall, this year, a Summer MMFF has been held.
Last July, the first four official entries were already announced and they were chosen based on these criteria: Artistic Excellence – 40 percent; Commercial Appeal – 40 percent; Filipino Cultural Sensibility – 10 percent; and Global Appeal – 10 percent.
The 10 official movie entries are:

The list that used to be eight has been expanded to 10 and this is because during the review of the 30 films submitted which are supposed to complete the Magic 8, three of them gained the same scores.
MMFF chairman Jesse Ejercito revealed that these three films got a 93.3% rating from the committee based on a report from ABS-CBN.
