Joshua Garcia is proud of his recent acting project
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia said that his role in the series Unbreak My Heart is a big leap for his acting career.
Joshua has proven his caliber in acting over the years with the various projects that he did. He is one of the most sought-after leading men of his generation. Many viewers admired his performance in the first ABS-CBN and GMA collaboration series.
The Kapamilya actor plays the character of Lorenzo “Renz” Isidro in the series which is now in its last five weeks. In a recent interview, based on the article in PUSH, the actor expressed gratitude for having this kind of opportunity in his career. Previously, he already shared his experience working with Gabbi Garcia in this series and other cast members.
Joshua Garcia also shared that he has been waiting for this kind of project to showcase to everyone what he can do as an actor.
“Matagal kong hinintay itong trabahong ito. Naipapakita ko yung acting ko, yung talent ko. And sobrang thankful and grateful lang na ako yung kinuha nila. And sana mas marami pa na trabaho yung dumating para mas mapatunayan ko pa yung sarili ko,” he said.
The actor also said that his role in Unbreak My Heart is definitely much more challenging than his previous acting project, the Darna series with Jane de Leon and Janella Salvador. He also said that this is a big leap for his career in showbiz.
“Kita naman natin lahat na sobrang ibang iba yung character ko ngayon kasi may mental problem. And ang pagkakaiba, ang laking pagkakaiba. Ang laking talon nito sa career ko sa mga ginampanan kong role,” Joshua shared.
He added that in his previous projects, his roles were more “tweetums” or sweet and innocent love stories. The actor mentioned that most of his past projects featured a character who is a loving child to his parents.
He also said that this current project and the one he did before, The Good Son series, are challenging.
For future projects, Joshua Garcia said that he has no definite list of actors he wants to work with. He said that he is open to working with anyone in the industry.
